Everything you need to know about our Luxury Press-On Nails

HOW TO APPLY:

---Prepare the natural nails

  • Start with clean natural nails. (Remove any nail polish if applicable.)
  • Use the wood stick provided to gently push back your cuticles.
  • Use the white wood file provided to smooth the natural nail free-edge. (Trim natural nails if needed)
  • Use the orange buffer provided to remove the shine from your natural nail.
  • Use the alcohol pads provided to wipe away the dust and any natural oils from your nail beds.

Line up your press-on nails according to the sizes that fit your hand.

---Applying the nails with Nail Glue

  • Swirl a droplet of the nail glue provided on the natural nail.
  • Swirl a second droplet on the press-on nail where it would attach to your nail. (If nail glue touches the skin, wipe away immediately with an alcohol pad.)
  • Press the nail on gently to your natural nail aligning the bottom on the press-on nail to your cuticle. Hold for 3-10 seconds to let the nail glue set. (Set time will vary depending on the nail glue brand instructions.)
  • FOR TOES: Use the tab to help guide/ place the nail on the natural nail bed. Once adhered, bend the tab back and forth until it breaks free from the nail OR use a small pair of scissors or nail clippers to cut the tab off. Gently file the edge of the nail for a smooth edge.

---Applying the nails with Double-Sided Stickers

  • Select an adhesive sticker to fit a natural nail bed.
  • Place stickers on the nail bed and press down firmly to avoid leaving air bubbles.
  • Remove the protective plastic to expose the adhesive.
  • Apply the correct size press on the sticker. Hold and press the nail down for 5 seconds.

HOW TO REMOVE:

---Press On Nail Removal adhered with Nail Glue

  • Apply a generous amount of cuticle oil to flood the cuticle area. Allow the cuticle oil to soak in for 5-10 minutes.
  • Gently rock the nails side to side to help loosen the hold
  • Soak your nails/hands in warm soapy water.
  • Continue to rock the nails side to side until they fully lift off.
  • Let the nails fully dry prior to placing them back in their box.
    • In the event too much glue is used, it can be difficult to remove the nails. I suggest two things:
      • 1) Apply a generous amount of cuticle oil to flood the cuticle area. Allow the cuticle oil to soak in overnight. And repeat twice a day to loosen the glue
      • 2) Last Resort: You can soak your nails in 100% acetone as per the bottle directions. PLEASE NOTE THIS WILL DESTROY THE NAILS AND WILL MAKE THEM UNUSABLE FROM THIS POINT ON.

---Remove Press On Nails adhered with double-sided stickers

  • Soak nails in warm soapy water for 5-10minutes.
  • Gently twist nail side to side to loosen it from the sticker
  • Use the wood stick included to gently scrape off the remaining sticker.

HELPFUL TIPS:

  • Do not use too much glue when using nail glue.
  • Do not reuse nails if there is an excessive buildup of glue.
  • Do not soak nails in alcohol or acetone. This will ruin them.
  • Avoid direct contact with harsh cleaners (wear gloves when cleaning)
  • Use an alcohol pad or spray to sanitize your press-on nails between uses.
  • Do not pull or ripe nails off. This will damage your natural nail beds.
  • Do not use Super Glue! ONLY USE NAIL GLUE
  • Use caution when wearing your nails to prevent injury. For example: Don’t use your nails to open a can of soda, use a tool like the back of a spoon to open the can.
  • Do not apply if natural nails are damaged or have fungal infections.
  • If a nail lifts or comes off, clean the fingernail and press on nail with alcohol prior to re-gluing. Do not allow water to get trapped between the fingernail and press on nails
